The minor in strategy is geared towards those pursuing careers in business. It requires core math classes and a variety of statistics, finance, and accounting courses to complement the specialized strategy classes. This is a limited enrollment minor, and acceptance into the program is highly competitive. Like economics, strategy focuses on using analytical skills to make decisions and solve problems; however, strategy focuses on using these analytical skills in a business setting. This minor is a great fit for economics students who are interested in entering into business careers, such as management consultant and business analyst.
