Research and Professional Experience

Richard Patterson graduated with a PhD in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University in 2015 and earned a BS in economics from Brigham Young University in 2009. Dr. Patterson is a Director of Long-Run Research in the Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis, IZA Research Affiliate, CESifo Research Network Affiliate, and Global Labor Organization Fellow. He specializes in applied microeconomics and has done research in applied behavioral, education, labor, and public economics.
