Christian vom Lehn is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Brigham Young University. He received a BS in Mathematics and a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University ('09), and then received a MA ('11) and PhD ('14) in Economics from Princeton University. His primary research interests are in macroeconomics and labor economics. Some of his current work researches the role of technological change in driving the polarization of the labor market and recent changes in aggregate employment and compensation. He also is researching the changing nature of labor productivity over the business cycle, and its relation to industry level employment volatility.
